Rabbi Shmuel Krawatsky's Students Discuss Their Trip

Here's an excerpt from the full article on BJL:

"What really had a major impact on me personally were the two stops to Frank Storch’s house and to Ahavas Yisroel’s food pantry.  Not only did it remind me that there are many kind Jewish organizations, but I also got to meet the people in charge and see that they have wonderful hearts.  These leaders really inspired me to try to do many mitzvot and realize that anyone can make a difference no matter how strong or weak they are."

Rabbi Krawatsky's 7th Graders Visits Some of Baltimore's Jewish Life

Here's an excerpt from the post on BJL:

"The Star-K greeted us with a warm welcome.  Nice gestures as simple as the sign on your board, to the snack bags that all the children received, were well received. The kids learned lots of content relating to the rules of Kashrut and gained an appreciation of the many details that are involved in the process of certifying food.  Rabbi Baruch Beyer was able to relay deep concepts over to the kids in a relatable way. For instance, Rabbi Beyer equated eating kosher to "fueling an expensive car with quality gas."  Rabbi Beyer had the kids' attention from beginning to end. Everyone gained from his presentation, students and teachers alike."
